Many people believe that the 1920s marked a new era in United States history as the decade heralded a dramatic break between America’s past and future. The most vivid impressions of that era are flappers, dance halls, movie palaces, radio empires, Prohibition and speakeasies. The decade is often referred to as the "Roaring Twenties" due to the supposedly new and less-inhibited lifestyle that many people embraced in this period.

Join us for the after hours exhibit opening of “The Roaring Twenties”. The mansion will be dressed in glitz and glam as we set the stage for our annual Speakeasy Parlor on May 12th.
